Age Gracefully...
This statement relates to White + Dickson Architects approach to architecture. A building, in order to age well or appreciate in visual delight over time, should present materials that, when encouraged towards a patina, grow in character and quality like you would expect a fine coin, an antique cabinet or a bronze statue. Such materials should be used with rigour and respect other emotive devices such as proportion, space and texture.
